CHRONARIUM is a world of time and you are invited to enter. (Duration: 50 min. approx. Every 10 minutes, new participants are admitted). Step into a sensory performance installation experienced in small groups of three. Through scent, sound, light, and live performers, you will journey across different dimensions of time. Inspired by ancient organisms, the earliest plant life, and by bogs as living archives of biological and geological history, CHRONARIUM invites you to touch, listen, explore, and experience the phenomenon of 'Deep Time' with your whole body. It stretches far beyond human history into the vast geological rhythms of the Earth, a scale of time so immense it feels impossible to imagine. *Fun fact* about bogs: Bogs are acidic, nutrient-poor wetlands characterized by waterlogged, spongy ground composed mainly of partially decayed plant matter known as peat. Primarily fed by rainwater rather than groundwater, they form over thousands of years as moss (particularly Sphagnum) and vegetation decompose slowly due to low oxygen levels.
