The album’s songs are based on real-life stories from Knægt’s family and circle of friends – about love, mental struggles and a deeper search for meaning. Listening to the complete record is a journey. Knægt, Malte Nordtorp Pedersen, says: “The vast majority of the songs are written for and about my friends and family and reflect their circumstances, which in one way or another have touched me so deeply that I thought it made sense to write about it. Looking around, at my immediate surroundings, has been the inspiration behind ‘Forandring, please!?’.”
