Refusing the standard online marketing ways that has taken over music, Bar Italia is more than a cultural phenomenon for the post-internet intellectualisations. They’re a band returning to the oldschool order of things, building a loyal audience with their genuine presence, their music spreading like far-reaching whispers across the scene. Nobody really knew much about them, how the looked, where they came from. Holding to an uncompromising vision, doing nothing for LIKES and everything for the fanbase and their love of music, Bar Italia is now breaking away from the imposed identity of ‘mystery’, but its their creative process, dry jokes and becoming Gen Z’s Rolling Stones what feels so inspiring to many. 'Some Like It Hot' is named for the classic 1950s love-triangle film, in which two ex-gangsters compete for the affection of a beautiful chanteuse. Now, two male vocalists and a dainty female lead, playing off, singing off each other, vibing on caricatured versions of rock heroes, emerging on every stage in new ways, surprising, always- who are they? Why? The mystery is revealed but the code is on. It lives on <3
