Mikael Simpson

Since establishing himself as a solo artist in the early 2000s, Simpson has created a ton of music, with his distinctive sound that combines down-toned guitar with electronic beats with minimalist- poetic lyrics. And he is also a filmcomposer! From 2007 to 2011 Mikael joined Trentemøller and played over 180 concerts, including gigs at Roskilde, Glastonbury, and Coachella. Mikael is a part of the spoken word trio 'Vi Sidder Bare Her', the voice of filmmaker Jørgen Leth. The trio has released 5 albums. Mikael has also featured playing french harp live with Peter Sommer, Nils Frahm, and Devendra Banhart.
